Being a human you have to deal with a lot of things on a daily basis. The days can be stressful and decisions can be hard. But being a cat, your days are totally relaxed. Have you ever thought about what it would be like if you were a cat for one day? I have a few tips where you don’t actually have to trade lives with a cat but you can still be like a cat!

Accept who you are

Have you ever seen a cat be critical about his looks or worry about what other people think of him? No! A cat doesn’t care about how he looks and doesn’t try to change himself. A cat is happy with who he is. So a tip for the humans, try the same! Because you are pawesome.

Stay curious

Every new thing has to be checked out. Whether it’s a box, a plant or a bag. A cat is always curious. And humans should try that too! Don’t get caught up in the daily routine, but try something different. New things give you lots of energy!

Be the boss

Having trouble telling someone else do to that one thing you always do? Think like a cat! They, without even trying, tell everyone else to do things for them. Who cleans the litter box, gets their food ready or vacuums the house? Exactly, not the cat. So tell someone else to do something for a change.

Learn to say no

Cats do what they want and when they want. They are the best at letting people know when they do not or do want something. You can pick them up because you want them on your lap so bad, but the cat will be gone straight away if they’re not in the mood for it. And if you really don’t want to do something, why say yes? So like a cat, say no sometimes!

Choose your own company

When a cat doesn’t like you, they will let you know. They are critical with who they will hang out with and with who they will not. Humans can learn from that. You don’t need countless of furriends, you need a few that really mean something to you. So be selective!

Live your life

Humans always try to do everything they can in the littlest of time. But a cat is the masters at doing nothing. It loves staring out the window and napping on every spot in the house. And doing nothing does not mean you are wasting your time, it just makes you reflect on your life. A cat knows what’s important in life, so you should too!
