Hammock

Kitties have all kind of possibilities when it comes to sleeping places. It not just a simple basket anymore, there are a lot of creative options too. For example ones that look fabulous in your interior (it’s not only for the kitty anymore) and ones that make your kitties extra intrigued. One of those options, a hammock, found it’s way to my humom. You can read more about it in this blog post.

Hammock

My humom saw this hommock for cats on the internet with a very nice leopard print. She thought this hammock would be a great present for me (as if I didn’t already have enough of fancy sleeping places in this house haha). She already pictured me just hanging out in that thing. Little did she know that a hommock is some serious hard work to use. It’s not that simple to get into and get a stable position. It takes a while to get the hang of it and make yourself comfortable without falling out of it.

In this video below you can see me figuring out what this hammock exactly is and how I have to use it. I did need a little encouragement from my cat dad to know I am suppose to get on it. Because first I started to eat it (wasn’t that yummy) and use it as a scratching post. And that clearly was not the intention of this hammock at all.

As you can see in the pictures, I did eventually manage to get on the hammock and use it a sleeping basket. Every once in a while I will sleep in it. I do sometimes need a little help from my humans to keep the hammock still until I’m in a good position to lay down on it haha.
